Users and Artisans must be at least 18 years old or meet the legal age requirement in their location to create an account and use the platform.
3. Account Registration
- Users and Artisans must provide accurate and complete information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to notify us immediately if unauthorized use of your account occurs.
- Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination.
4. Service Listings by Artisans
- Artisans may create and manage service listings on the platform.
- Service descriptions, pricing, availability, portfolios, and other information must be accurate.
- Artisans are solely responsible for maintaining updated information.
- We reserve the right to remove misleading, offensive, or inappropriate content.
5. Booking and Payments
- Users can book services through the platform.
- Booking confirmation depends on Artisan availability and acceptance.
- Payments may be processed through integrated payment gateways.
- Applicable taxes, service charges, and platform fees may be added where required.
6. Platform Commission
By listing services on the platform, Artisans agree that the platform may charge a commission or service fee on successful bookings.
- The applicable commission percentage will be communicated separately through the Artisan dashboard or agreement.
- The commission may be deducted automatically from payments or collected separately.
- Failure to pay platform commissions or fees may result in account restrictions, suspension, or removal.
- The platform reserves the right to modify commission structures with prior notice.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation policies may vary based on service type.
- Users may cancel bookings according to the stated cancellation period.
- Refund eligibility will depend on the cancellation policy and payment status.
- Repeated misuse of cancellation policies may result in account restrictions.
8. Responsibilities of Artisans
- Provide services professionally and ethically.
- Honor confirmed bookings unless unavoidable circumstances occur.
- Maintain required licenses, permits, or certifications where legally required.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are followed.
9. Responsibilities of Users
- Provide accurate booking information.
- Treat Artisans respectfully and professionally.
- Avoid misuse of the platform.
- Make payments according to agreed terms.
10. Prohibited Activities
Users and Artisans agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Use the platform for unlawful activities.
- Post abusive, harmful, discriminatory, or offensive content.
- Attempt to bypass platform fees or commissions.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
11. Ratings and Reviews
- Users may leave ratings and reviews after service completion.
- Reviews must be genuine and respectful.
- We reserve the right to remove fraudulent or inappropriate reviews.
12. Intellectual Property
All platform content including logos, design, text, images, software, and trademarks remain the property of Event Bondhu unless otherwise stated.
13. Limitation of Liability
The platform acts as a marketplace connecting Users and Artisans. We do not directly provide services and are not responsible for:
- Quality or outcome of services provided by Artisans.
- Disputes between Users and Artisans.
- Losses, damages, delays, injuries, or other claims arising from service use.
14. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.
15. Privacy
Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to our data collection and usage practices.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
